    cf t8 touchscreen under w 10 not exact

    i have installed win 10 on a cf t8 but the touchscreen doesn t work properly
    if i touch the screen it seems the touch is not exactly
    so when i touch it differs a few cm andis not exactly

    when i have time ill try it under linux

    do you know any win 7 vista or other drivers that worked well?

    Have you tried to calibrate the touch screen. Not sure where to find it on W10....staying away from that virus infected OS. :D

    no i have the normal win 10 as an update from win 7
    tried to calibrate bur even there it was not really possible

    Tap menu key and type " calibrate"(no quotes)....see what comes up.

    I don't have W10 in the house....nor a W8.

    ok i tried to do it but there is no solution the contacts from my fingers are really totally far away from thr real point

    I wouldn't run 10 on a T8 or W8, they have moderate performance to say the least. I still have the restore disc for them. Linux will run great.

    The last toughbook I put 10 on was a 19 Mk5. I had to use a mix of newer model windows 10 drivers and some older windows 7 drivers. You will have to look for a toughbook that has newer drivers avaiable for touch, misc and common drivers. Here is panasonic's guide for windows 10 on a newer 19 doing a clean upgrade. I know you don't have a 19 but usually the touch, misc and common drivers are the same. Hot key as well. Just install one at a time, reboot and try again.

    You can look at other toughbook models as well.
