hi i am ownner of a cf w8 ewwezam umts ready book
today i received a dell branded wwan card
normally thios card should be discovered by the book but nothing happened
what did i wrong?
i am running win7 pro 64 bit and linux mint cinnamon 17 64 bit
-
i just had to play around with the jumpers to get it activated one on and one off
than it was recognized by win7
drivers i used some toshiba drivers i discovered in thw www after hours of searching
installed the mobi link software and every thing is fine
i payed 5 euros for the card a rather cheap upgrade for my w8
so problem is solved -
Mobilink contains drivers for this card, so you don't need any Toshiba drivers.
-
the drivers from mobilink didn t work on win 7 pro 64 bit
i tried to install them but no success -
now i am looking for win 10 drivers and software
i didn t discoverd any in the www
would be nice to have 3 g under win 10 -
it may take a while for some companies to develop W10 drivers for their equipment .
there are a few reasons for this :
serviceability
end of life
non-compatibility issues
developmental costs
some companies may not rush in to build drivers until they see just how well W10 is accepted . -
i succeed
i installed the old drivers again i had saved in the cloud and than i installed the mobilink software too
now i have 3g under win 10
so everything works nice on a cf w8 under win10 pretty coolLast edited: Sep 29, 2015 -
