Does anyone know if a 1.2 ghz cf-18 motherboard and processor is interchangeable with an 800 mhz cf-18 motherboard and processor?

I asked the same question a few months back. It seems the layout of the main chipset is different and so the chipset heatsink - which is part of the upper casing - is a different design.

Maybe the case could be modified, but as chip cooling is pretty critical I decided to go the safer and easier route and bought a matching Mark 5 upper case ($50).

When the parts arrive I'll post again about how it went.
