    just need to clarify - what's the max RAM i can install in my MK1 CF-18? an exhaustive search of the net has given me various answers, ranging from the panasonic manual stating 256mb onboard +512mb upgrade, to threads by people saying they've added 1gb? need to know then I don't buy the wrong one

    OK I have added 1gb to my mk1 and yes it dows work, it will not take any more than that though. not that ive seen any way.

    You can install 1GB ddr pc2100 or pc2700 in the mk-1
