cf-18 toughbook replacement touchscreen

hi please can any help me find a new touchscreen for my cf18 my lcd is fine i just need the glass with the ribbon on i dont really what it is i have to buy or where to get it from a 3rd party cheeper would fine can any one help please ?

 

Which exact model do you have -- CF-18xxxxxxx ?

The model number should be on a sticker on the back of the unit and also if you press F2 when you first power on the computer, it will be on that first screen.

I get you the part number tomorrow when I go back to work - and the price.

The part you need is called "Touchscreen Kit". It comes with the touchscreen (duh), a new gasket that mounts to the front panel on the backside, and pads that rest between the LCD and the touchscreen.

I can also walk you through an easy procedure to replace your screen.

Would anyone happen to know if that kit would work for a cf-18NJHZXBM
and if not which one would?

Also, where is the best place to purchase this kit?

The kit works on all touchscreen models for the 18 and yours is one of them.

The part number listed above will not work with a CF-18BH as how this is the only 18 with a different touchscreen ( has a different cable to connect to the touchsceen circuit board. i can get the correct part number for you tomarrow. the one listed above will work for CF-18D - CF-18N but if you need a new one i would try to find this one as how it is the revised touchscreen for these models DFWV84A0293
