If it's a CF-19mk1 touchscreen, you won't see a "tablet PC devices" if I remember right. You only see that stuff with the digitiser version.

I believe its a digitizer, as you really cant use your finger, but it responds to the pen.

Is there a way to tell with the model number: cf-19cjbaxam

it is a digitizer. Read the thread on installing win7 on a cf18. Follow those steps exactly. Somewhere in that thread is also how to install the misc driver.

I started to follow the cf18 instructions. When I attempted to install the Panasonic misc drivers, I chose Micosoft ACPI compliant system because that was the closest open. When I rebooted, it wouldn't start, so I had to restore it.

So if I dont have Microsoft ACPI compliant embedded controller, what should I install the misc in?????

A few of the items that are available in the CF 18, 19 all Mk's, XP and earlier, are not available in the Windows 7 environment. A little annoying, but not so noticeable since Windows 7 Ultimate provides so much more dynamically than XP. Your call on most things. When I installed Win7, 64 bit, on CF 19, MK IV, I was advised not to do it. I found that only 1 (one) driver did not work, and that was my cardbus 32 CF Card reader. Who cares.... I have another drive, swap, Windows 32 bit, fixed. Minor nuisances like this will occur until the OEM'ers get up to speed and add more drivers, including Panasonic with all of the apps that work under XP, 2000, 98, etc....

    Happy computing
