I've never hd a CF-27 but is it similar to the DIP switches on the CF-28 600Mhz? (Or do you know?)

I thought the DIP switches had some function. this is a little toggle switch with a metal operator about 1/8" long, and I don't know that anyone has found a purpose for it.

It used to have a function back with a particular kind of addon wireless technology that has long since been fazed out. So in effect, it doesn't do anything anymore.
