I have a Mk IV that would do that every once in a whiile, make sure that let windows manage the card and not the software that came with it. What is the make and model of the wireless card that you are using

Which version of Windows are you using? I used both a Linksys G and N pcmcia cards. Try booting the computer with the card in place, also do not insert or remove the card while in hibernation or sleep mode.

HI: I had this problem with a Lynksys SRX 400 card. I got it to work by slightly pulling out the card, just a hair. I don't know why. See what happens when you try this. Spark

There are known lockup issues with the CF-27 and various brands of wifi cards. If you can find a different make/model of wifi card, you may have better luck.

I have a solution for you tugless !

I had same issue, and was told by a tech that the voltage put out on CF-27 pcmcia slot is not enough for many newer cards... hence your problem

The card I have used is a "no name" GWAE06G. And it works great ! 802.11G pcmcia

    I hope that helps

    Take care

Just google GWAE06G to find online seller.
