    Hello
I have some cf-28 I have installed win 2000 installed all the drivers but the main problem is I can`t get the wifi to work the wifi card is present but it is not showing up in device manager the bios setting are set to auto.
It is a uk spec model number CF-28PBJ12FE

Also I downloaded the Billionton-Bluetooth from Modly's site thanks .

but the stack is time limited does anyone know where I can get a free one which will work ?

I have had a good look around the site for these problems and tried to sort this out 2 days :-( later still trying ?

    Regards Bis5

Welcome to the NBR Panasonic Toughbook forum!

It's likely there is no wifi card installed, at least not internally. That model number shows a Cisco WWAN but no wifi (WLAN). WWAN uses the older cell phone type technology and is too slow.

Recommend trying a PC card type wifi that has good W2K drivers.

The antenna you see is for the WWAN and built for a different frequency than wifi. It is possible to install wifi internally in a CF-28, in fact it is a common mod that has several how-to instructive posts on this site.

    Panasonic Toughbook Configurator

Be sure to enter the entire Model Number, including the "dash"; i.e.: CF-28xxxxxxx .
