I've got a cf-28st that has the build in wireless, I upgraded to windows xp and got the wireless drivers installed and she worked great for about 6 months. But, now the wireless is gone missing, I'm not sure where to start to get it back. Any help would be great, I did goto network connections and there is no wireless there.

I need a next step in figuring it out, thanks in advance for any help with this problem.

Its disable. i forgot which key to hit. Fn+other something like that. Try to search on the forum. The hidden PCMCIA can de control outside by hitting those key to make on/off. It was discussed long time ago. Try to experiment by trial and error of any key right on the leftside of the keyboard. If you hit that right it will flash like bios screen.

I believe it is Fn + Tab that controls the hidden slot.

Yup. FN+TAB is to turn on/off the hidden slot. Good memory TB!
