    there is a ant connection on the back of the 29. can it be used for external wifi antenna, and what kind of pig tail would i need? also whats the most powerfull mini pci card we can put in these things? thanks

    Here ya go! The connector on the card is an U FL. The antenna connector I choose is the common RP-SMA.

    Ext cf 29 antenna.

    I, like most people use the EnGenus 8602+S Wi-Fi card at 600mW. I do not believe that the slot will support much more then that in these machines. The best price I have been able to find was a Flytech.com

    The antenna port that you are looking at is a press contact, it will not take a screw on pigtail, which of course would be an awesome addition to anything, but I digress...

    It was instead to designed to work with a docking station, it is for the WLAN connection, not the Wi-Fi card, but it can easily be re-purposed for this.
