    cf-29 hard drive swap

    swaped out hard drive to 160 gb went to panasonic site and got all the drivers downloaded every thing works fine accept the touch screen anyone have any info that might help thanks in advance mike

    Hey mike,
    How about you make life a bit easier for us and give us more information about your computer. Things like Model number, OS platform, etc... Have you even attempted to search the forums or read the faqs? Most questions and issues can be fixed just by doing a search.

    it is a cf29 mk1 windows xp pro. yes i have searched all the faqs. the old hard drive was the original 40gb i replaced it with the samsung 160gb hd i found all the drivers at the panasonic web site every thing is working fine accept i cant get the touch screen back up and running.

    You need to download the mouse/touchscreen driver from the oficial Panny site listed in the FAQs.... Go HERE to download by MK#.

    Please keep us posted.....

    By the way.. It may or may not install itself. (I can't remember... I have the restore disks for everything so it makes life easier) You may have to extract it and then go into Device Manager and update the Mouse driver for it to work... Reboot then calibrate it. Also... Make sure it is enabled in the BIOS...
