    cf-29 mk2 wont boot to bios

    i used the tough book daily. one day i used it till battery shutdown, now it wont boot.I dont even get to the bios, and nothing on screen.
    can anyone help??????

    Is the laptop plugged in and does the charging/power lights come on?

    Welcome to the forum. The first thing I would try is to remove the battery and AC adapter... Let it discharge... Then hook everything back up and try it out.

    Keep us posted... We'll get this handled...

    Remove the extra ram(removable) it maybe faulty now. If it does faulty the unit will not boot to any from bios to OS.

    the charging and power lights light up, i will try removing the ram, very thank full for this site and your help, will keep you posted

    put everything together and fired it up, could get to bios, seemed stuck on that page.pressed f2 and nothing happened, will try again later

    try removing your hard drive and accessing bios, A defective hard drive will cause LONG wait times to access bios due to the laptop trying to read the hard drive info

    Yeah, while you're at it, remove the CDD/FDD caddy as well. Who knows...

    Okay.... You said at one point that you can get into the BIOS... That requires pressing F2 at boot. Can you get into it or can't you? Your post was confusing. Thsi needs to be answered first.
