    cf-29 wifi antenna broken

    Was wondering why my wifi was only working within 10 ft of my wireless router so I took it apart and found out that the antenna wire that goes from the wifi card up to the screen is cut in half. Does anyone know where I can find a new one? I would like to get just the wire so i dont have useless parts laying around.

    You could ask your local computer shops do they have one or a scraped laptop with a 15" screen (and the price will probably be FREE) and take the cable from it and unsolder it and solder it on to the arial from the CF-29 or you could get someonr to do it for you.

    Just the one is bad. I checked with 4 shops in the area and non deal or have toughbooks.

    I have most spare parts for cf-29's , but I think the displays that I have are complete units
    I will look tonite if I have an antenna
