ok. ty. so no driversor anything? and has anyone installed a ssd?
-
(but the heater is not necessary, if u use an ssd. it is only for the bearings of the motor inside the hdd, if u use the toughbook in colder regions.)

ok.i mainly intended to use the heater since it is included. i am looking at staying with xp pro sp3 since it is what my comp came with and i want to keep all the stuff like touch screen working.

do use the heather, if the heater is not included, it might not come through BIOS as it is looking for the heater.
I tried to do without when I replaced my HDD with an SSD, was no success. -
