    hey guys i have a cf-74 and it is missing a hard drive, the slot next to the dvd-rom drive is empty, im guessing that is where the caddy goes? anywho, does anyone know where i can order a caddy or if thats even where its located? any information would be helpful thanks.

    DFHM0383 is the part # marked on the top of my cf-74 caddy
    But in further investigation thats just for the top cover
    I have not seen these caddys on the auction sites , so maybe one of the toughbook techs here would suggest a supplier

    hmm thanks for the reply, yea i searched ebay, google etc for hours, i wonder if any models have interchangeable caddies. panasonic doesnt sell spare parts eh?

    I had a CF-74 before and I had a pretty hard time finding stuff too, I just lucked out and found a parts one locally on craigslist to complete my other one. I'm glad I switched to the CF-28 and 29s now, much easier to find parts. I just searched ebay and I didn't see any hard drives, just batts and DVD-ROMs However I'm sure someone on here has to have a better idea as to where to find this stuff?

    hmm, yea ive been looking for days, and nothing, i emailed a couple resellers, and im waiting for a response, ill post it here, if its noteworthy. anyone here want to sell a caddy from their cf-74 lol.
