hi all, long time since ive been around. just got a cf-74 mk2, fresh factory restore but that did not cure the touchscreen not working. saw a few posts but no definitive hardware fix. any ideas?

also, i need a sticker that says TOUGHBOOK the goes on the lid of a cf-19, any ideas where one can be found? thanks!

I don't have a 74 but a lot of them coming off of ebay have very high hours on them and they have dead touch screens. I have sent you a PM on the 19 Badges / Logo's

No clue on the 74. My guess is that the touch panel is bad. Jeff can fix this though. It's the same touch panel they put in the 30's. Jeff, please see if you can help long time Toughbook user Adrion!

Blair has the logo for sure though.

It's good to see you again! FINALLY! lol.

Got any CF-19's for sale Adrion?

    Thanks!

ok, got it working by booting from a ubuntu live cd, saw it working, rebooted and used the calibration utility and it recognized the stylus (it did not respond when i tried it before). good to go now.
