Most of your older toughbooks were picky about the ram they used.

Use PC133 LOW DENSITY RAM module.

Yes, low density RAM with correct speed will work with ANY computer brand, including the "picky ones" like Panasonic or Apple... High density is manufacturing rejects.

    from ebay seller.. :(

don't know either, as I said from experience you need a 1000Mhz cpu for this ram to work. You can buy and test if it will work or not, if not you can send the ram back to me, I will refund your payment.

I have ordered some newer ram sticks available for a CF-28 before. The first three I ordered and they worked. So I ordered more from the same place. The second batch didn't work. Same ram, but different batch number. They were cheap and were sitting for a few weeks so I didn't return them. A few months later I tried them in a IBM T22 and they worked fine so I swapped the ram out of the IBM and put them in the toughbook.

So if you can get a return guarantee. That is the one I would get.

Personaly, I'd go with samsung RAM, much better than Kingston (chips can be second choice, and labelling...)
