    does anone know if its possible to fit ram chips to the empty positions on a cf-m34n (mk 3) motherboard ,the dimm shows up as banks 2 and 3 so is the mother board 0 and 1, i've seen it mentioned on one of the forums,any of you guys know if its possible ?

    Yes , how much ram do you have now on your mk-3?
    I had a mk-3 before and as I remember it has one slot total
    And is very fussy on the ram upgrade , I think I ended up with 256mb total
    Teo is the expert here on these, I am sure he can expand on my comment

    it currently has a 512 mb dimm which it recognises as 256mb however there are 4 unused positions on the motherboard designated for on board ram,I believe some models had only the onboard ram ,just wondering if i added 256 on the board whether i could get it to 512, it looks a long and fiddly solder job and there are easier ways to make a paperweight, but if the bios can handle it worthwhile
