This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi all,

    I'm running a cf-y5 with ubuntu 9.04 and I'm generally impressed with preformance, however I'm having trouble getting DMA to work on the dvd rom drive for DVD playback. I can play movies back, however it's choppy. Also streaming video isn't always the best. I was wondering if anybody else is having or has solved these issues. I did relevant google searches, and filed some bug reports.

    I'm also interested in any other performance tweaks.
