Spotted two nice carry cases for CF18 and 19 systems on Ebay which look almost identical - one is marketted as a 'Always-On' case, the other as a 'Fieldmate' case. Both about the same price with roughly the same shipping cost to Australia.
Who has tried either (or both) and are the actually the same case being sold under a different product title?
Looking at one of them as perfect for taking my CF18 (which is what I am typing this on from my room in the crew van of the freight train I'm working to Darwin) on trains and planes. And it would negate the need to use a Pelican case unless it was really necessary.
The CF18 is definitely a lot better for a portable system given how much other stuff I bring on these trips (5 or 6 days away from home at a time - so enough food for that long, plus clothes, my normal 'on train' work bag, etc.).
Thanks, Craig.

According to the seller 'BidKahuna' on Ebay who sells these cases under both titles, they are exactly the same case. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, what are they like in use and are there any alternatives in a similar style of case (without opting for a Pelican hard case)?
Thanks,
Craig. -
I just use a standard case

They are the same cases. Also, the Bidkahuna is probably the best one for prices. Watch them carefully as the price on this particular case goes anywhere from $49 to over $80. The best price I have seen is $55 with free shipping.
