Try the panasonic FTP site at
ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/pub/Panasonic/Drivers/notebooks/ -
i looked there but there is no index as to what files are what, too bad there is alot of files there.

Sorry about that, Comcast gave me a new IP for the first time in almost 4 years, and my DNS is still taking time to update.
So if it's still not working, try via my new IP ( http://98.224.230.225/cf-28 ), But it should be operational by tonight.
My new IP is easier to remember though, so it's not all bad... -
Manuals and drivers can be had here as an alternate:
https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pc/itn/drivers/d_menu_en.html -
The data.txt file on the first folder lists all the files and what they cover. It looks like the file modly had, at least originally. -
i got the touch screen workin! Funny thing though the reason i had reload windows was because the mouse was flippin out moving on its own and and making it nearly impossible to use the pc. I tryied erasing all the programs one by one to no avail, i reinstalled and reformatted xp and the mouse is still moving own its own, Its almost like somthing is intermittently overloading the machine and it goes haywire. The connections are all tight ect. Have any of you ever run into one of these that acts like it has a mind of its own.? I am hoping it is not a hardware problem with the touchpad. Any suggestions?
thanks -
If dirt gets under the edges, it can cause that. Take something tiny and run it along the edges and try to clear it out. If you can't, you can always pull the board and carefully pry up the touchpad to clean it that way & put it all back together.

The jumping mouse cursor is symptomatic of the presence of the factory GPS.
The system interprets the GPS signals as mouse commands.
To correct that, reboot and disable the GPS in the BIOS.
Then in Win Control Panel, System, Hardware tab, Device Manager, disable the Serial Ball point Mouse (named something like that).
That will fix your jumping cursor. (That entry will never be re-enabled, but do not uninstall it, because Win will just re-detect and install it again...just leave it disabled)
If you do a thread search for COM4, you'll find a few hits for fixing the GPS.
