i've been thinking about this for a few days now. there's some really great information in this forum. much of it can't be found anywhere else. BUT.. these pearls of wisdom are hidden in threads that are sometimes 20+ pages long! I will recall reading about something somewhere in this forum, but try like he** to find it later because there's just so much here.
What we need is a toughbook knowledgebase. I'm thinking of something like how stuff is cataloged in wikipedia. It would start with a broad outline of terms (like "CF28" and then below it "GPS", "keyboards", "hard drives", "BIOS", "password", etc.) which we could then each contribute to and compile the total of what we know about each aspect.
Now, I probably shouldn't even bring this up because I don't even come close to having the skills to create something like this. I just figured I'd throw it out and see what everyone says.

toughbook did start a driver section,
suppose info can be added to that to help everyone............ -
I started a Problems and Solutions thread... It went by the wayside... But that was when there were like only two other active around here.

how about every start using the same thread toughbook started and put all the info there have into that for future help for any new toughbook owners............
crazy idea of mine
