What can you say about this item. The guy claiming that this is for wi-fi. Ebay item no.400071457706

If he tuned it up maybe but if not the buyer of this antena will fry up his mini card.

Yeah... I thought he would have meant the WWAN... But he says Intel WIFI... This is laid out differently than the one in the CF-28 and you dang near have to destroy them to get them out... (I have several!) But then you'd also need the bump-out and a few other parts to install it into your Toughbook... Parts he doesn't show.

According to his price... I have thousands worth in the shop! ;)

He ended up his listing early. Probably somebody told him that was not the right description of the item or maybe his unit fried up coz he mentioned that he is using this antena to one of his unit right now with good signal.

Rick! Maybe your right! it appear again on ebay but this time it has the right description of the item. Luckily nobody grab it on the first listing and install to their system as wi-fi antena, Its like three months ago an illumiscent keyboard for cf-28 sold for al most two hundred buck, I think morethan that detailing it for cf-28 and cf-29, no mention of inverter or accesories. I guessed the buyer of the unit right now has no hair thinking how to illuminate the keyboard. Tomcat, suggest that he need a flashlight to lighted up the keyboard. Lol

Yeah... I have some emissive keyboards on ebay now for CF-28s... I felt duty bound to explain that you need an inverter and sensor. Others don't... I always wondered how they explain their way out of it and still get good feedback.
