They seem very nice.

Thats where mine came from... and I cant recommend him enough! the service was top drawer! Jay answered emails quickly and sent out the aptop when promised, he posted on saturday and the thing arrived on my doorstep Wednesday - in the uk!!!
The laptop itsself - properly refurbed no marks to any of the silver, keyboard wasnt shiny or dirty, only the smallest nmber of scuffs to the edges of the back round the base - from the documentation and labels has originated from Planitroi who are a large scale MS certified toughbook refurb company, they have warranties and was packed very well for its trip. -
Thanks, i think i buy one from hem.
Can you say if the 512 installed ram is on the mb with a free slot, or 256 + 256?
i intend to max it out to 1,5 gig -
the ram is all mounted on the mobo, with the slot free
these also have a few extras it seems...
the media bay has the connector for a VIP tester module - not a huge amount of use, but the PCMCIA bay has a connector for a PCMCIA WWAN module instead of the crazy money paasonic WWAN option... -
What is a VIP tester module ?????

Toughbook Exchange Company Representative
You would be correct. The TLD for the link is .be, which is Belgium.

sweet, that's where Jean Claude VanDamme is from, I bet they know each other. if van damme was a laptop he would be a toughbook right?

I think you are all wrong, i live in Belgium, and i bought a cf 29 from that guy on Ebay
He has more than 1000 pieces, and he goes lower in price on them -
the box I got from him came from California
-
I bought one from them as well. Very good condition, just a few marks on the case and a little wear on the touchpad. Battery lasts over 3 hours.
It had 512MB on the board with the slot open - so I added a 1GB DDR Crucial module.
The return address is California, but the UPS tracking shows it coming from New Jersey.
It has a CD-ROM drive (I plan to upgrade that), and the built-in antenna for WWAN, but it goes to a pigtail that ends by the PC (PCMCIA) card slots, one of which is covered with a metal bracket. There is no WWAN card in there, and the sled is empty. -
DENROSTEN do you know jean claude van damme? LOL

Oh yes, he is born next door
