I know there is what looks like a sma connector behind the back pop down door of my cf-29. I could make a simple yagi antena and a isotropic antenna but im a little lazy. Are there cheap antennas that can stick glue to the back cover of my laptop and then flip up when needed to find a open "non secured " wifi connection?

    Thanks!!!!!!!

The oem antennae in the lid work really well. For most unsecured access, they are plenty.
For more serious reception, I did this.
I was using a 600mw card with a cantenna and getting the public wifi from a business over 1/2 mile away.

    Wifi pass through.

onakriss did his like this. It's pretty much the same as mine except he sealed it with silicone and I did not.
