Hey, just thought I would introduce myself. I've been hanging around the site for a while but just recently signed up lol.
I've been a ToughBook fan since I first laid eyes on one waaay back when. I have a uncle that works for Panasonic and they give the sales guys who worked from home ToughBooks - awesome. Since then I've had 2 CF-47s, a CF-50, and just recently picked up a brand new CF-52 (love it).
One question, its regarding searching. When I attempt to search a term like say "CF-52" to bring up all posts related to that model, I always get an error message that nothing matched the search. Same error if I try CF-30 too. Am I not being specific enough?

Might get better results with a commercial search engine like Google. Just put "site: notebookreview.com" in the search string.

Thanks for the suggestion Springfield. -
Welcome to the forum! Heck yes... Post what you know! I agree... This is really a "rugged" forum but a lot of guys are branching out as they have fallen for the brand. Heck... I'm even looking into getting a CF-52 now!
As far as searching... You get the same problem if you type in CF-28... It reads the "-" and throws something off. You can try it without the dash... Or as Springfield said... Go to Google. If it is Panasonic.... It will be here. -
Welcome, This is the only site that helped me ever. No other sites were really out there.

Cost a little bit off of ebay, but came brand new sealed, checked with Panny and I still had 2yr 8mos warranty (since it was manufactured in June I missed out on warranty from June until now).
Runs like a dream, awesome awesome awesome battery life.
Won't stand up to as much as the CF-30 will but I wouldn't think twice about dropping it or spilling my rum on it. -
Now why would THAT be, I wonder?
