I have an old cf28 I am attempting to resurrect ,I have the bios password but I can not find the hdd unlock.

I have a newer cf 19 and when I go into the bios settings there is a line for the HDD lock,WHERE can I find this on the cf28?

Welcome to the Panasonic Toughbook forum
I don't think you will find one on the 28 if I recall. At least I don't remember one but I have been wrong before.

Thanks ,I've got a feeling that the drive has failed but was hoping that it might be locked.
I think I will bit the bullet and get a replacement drive to try

Do you have another IDE laptop to try it in?
