    need a low budget c5 51 hard drive caddy living on my harley and my dell pukes from saddle bag vibes .... and no laptop no work no food (living in a tent )
    running linux on a stick now pls help or any other info on a mod on a diffrent caddy i can make fit? thx all rey in palm springs

    rey, recommend getting a solid state drive SSD or make a poor man's version using a CF card and adapter. The vibration from the Harley will kill pretty much any hard drive sooner or later.

    Sounds like he got a CF-51 without a caddy. Watch eBay and they run from $45 used to $120 new. Unless someone here has one for sale. Yes, a SSD would be better but they say the PATA SSD is hard to find and costly. Thats the only options I know at the moment. :( JohnP
