I don't really understand the cf-m34 that well
I only had one, a mk-3 and it was a very portable unit to take around at the time to internet cafe's as I installed wi-fi internal
    I replaced it with a cf-18

its a hp internal bluetooth module from a 9000 series but its actually a usb broadcom unit BCM92045NMD, i fitted it under the palmrest had to cut one of the ribs back to get it in and only just have the height ,then tapped it into the usb line on the port rep connector

You must be good at soldering if you patched in to the docking station usb
On my mk-3 I removed the standard network card and installed a Intel 2200bg in its place
Then a generic wi-fi antenna under the palmrest
Not great reception but it was fine for me at the time

ive got a small antex iron and a BIG magnifying glass still not an easy job, took a couple of hours to cut back the casing under the palmrest and then solder the port rep the wifi was easy
