how to add a pigtail cable inside cf-29

hi @ll

i want to add a sierra aircard 860 into my cf-29. if i want to use the internal antenna of the cf-29 where do i ahve to plug the conncetor on the board of the cf-29 and what do i have to remove from the cf-29 to put in the pigtail cable. does anyone have pictures of the inside a cf-29MK4?

I am not sure if it was saved for this or another project
I would think that one end would be attached to the docking station and it would be u.fl on that end

Alex,

That cable is for the Huwei E160 usb modem
I used one for my internal WWAN usb hack
I don't know if it fits in the PCMCIA modem.

I will probably use it myself for a usb wwan
I might not be the right end for the pcmcia type

Hey mnem, how's your Mini Me doing? Sprout and mom still doing good?

 

Aside from having her days & nights backwards (sleeps all day, up every 30-90 minutes at night) and the concordant lack of sleep for mom & dad, just fine. Mom took her to her first Easter Sunday; she had mercy on me & let me remain passed out until noonish. The boy... well, he's two. I can't say anything nicer than that right now.

To the original poster.... I would think that would work nicely... If you can fit it in with the port covers closed. You should be able remove the bottom plate and use the pass-through connector as a link.

 

This is a puzzling thread, I mean if you are lucky enough to have a pigtail, why would you want to hide it???
