This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ive done some searching and it appears the CF-29 CD/DVD caddy is compatible with the CF-27 and CF-28 too, is that right?? :)

    cool... just seems odd that its cheaper to buy a CF-27 with DVD drive than it is to buy a bare DVD drive+caddy!

    Looks like ill have an other TB to add to the collection!

    This is often the case, you can find CF-27s with rubber keyboards and optical drives and their parts value outweighs their computer value
