    hi

i have had a w4 for about 6 months.. i dont usually use it for gaming, but when i do it is usually for relatively old games. a few tactical shooters, etc. however i have found that the games run ok or about 10 minutes and then suddenly suffer from a massive slow down...
quitting and restarting usually resets the problem but it soon comes back.
    any ideas?
i guess the cpu could be getting seriusly overheated?

Sounds like a heat issue. Have you tried a cooling pad or other things to make sure the vents are clear, etc.
