help! my son broke the power switch on his cf-27, the actual switch on the circuit board (the little prong on the switch). as far as i can tell, there is no way to repair the switch or replace it, unless someone knows otherwise, so i guess i need the circuit board that has the power switch on it.

    thanks!

Good quality pictures would help... (for me at least)... other members might want pics too.

    Thanks

The power switch is soldered directly to the motherboard you may be able to buy an old Cf-27 from which you can harvest the switch or the whole motherboard for less than the cost of ordering the correct switch from Panasonic.

BINGO! T2G, as usual, hit the nail on the head. Look on ebay for a parts 27, in fact, if you look in the BST forum here, Gravitars wife is selling his lot of stuff he had before he passed. He was the resident 27 guru and I am CERTAIN she has some parts machines to sell you.

EDIT: Here is the link to Gravitar's stuff : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=387280
