    mp light flashing red???

    i have tryed to find some thing on the forms but no good i have a cf-29 and the mb bat fully charged my mp light started flashing red so i poped out the mb bat and it sitll flashing red so i poped in my cd drive and try to read a disk but not a disk in the drive and it is flashing red and the read act light at the same time it will not stop i have powered down and pull out the mane bat and psu
    repowerd up and same thing what is it trying to tell me as i have tryed to find some thing on it

    now as soon as i post this it has stoped and now showing green

    I think it is telling you that the Mb battery is bad

    idk that bat works and holds up well if i unplug and plug it back it stops and turns green

    I had a 28 that would be green and then flash red...it turned out to be the cord that plugged into the power supply...

    Try charging only the main or MB battery one at a time; it may not be switching the main/MB battery properly if both are very discharged. This can cause a voltage drop that will trick the protection circuit.

    On the 72 if I tried dual dead bat charge it never flashed the MP light but the screen would flicker on and off under heavy cpu usage. Before then I was using the battery charger and the yellow tip from the 29 or 51 to charge the media bay battery separate. The media bay would go 100% and the main would be 98-99%
