    need help cf-29 hdd caddy not lineing up

    hdd cady not lineing up can not get it to goback in one pice just upgrade the hdd and now the damn thing will NOT line up right
    geting to the point ware this thing will see my darker side

    Will it fit , but not make a connection
    I find that installing the battery first helps on the cf-29

    it fits but it is not maching up i have sat hear for the last 5min in out over and over hopeing it will line up and connect i have now put the bat in and same thing i can not tell if it is to low or off in some way

    nope the gide is not geting in to the holes it is so bad and i can not see how off it is

    It could be bent , as I said the connector is a bit loose normaly
    You might have to straighten it

    well crap i was jumping the gun it only felt like it was not now i got to play wiht this ocz compound crap crap carp o and thay call this a heat sink bull pie now i got to do some thing for this

    If you have the bottom cover off to see whats up you really do need the battery in place for line-up as the cover holds the connector in place

    it was working the hole time just not flush as i played wiht the packing in the caddy u dont need the bat at all

    well i think i my have broke it in to i was bashing the hell out of it for a good 2 hrs toughbook = jarhead proof ha ha ha to a point just wate tell thay let me have those blasting caps u are going to be in a world of hurt if u act up 1 more time

    Ah...SATA conversion? Did any of the original foam get trimmed/removed? Did that 90 Deg of metal also get pulled? I slowly put mine back together gently pressing the drive into the foam as I put it back. I also cheated and bent those hooks to hold the connector in place.

    no sata i scraped that road that hdd has a new home long be for i started this and the lapy that needs it got it i have order a new 250 ide hdd overnight shiping and going to copy this 30g hdd that is runing out of room fast to the new one all pc,s are helping out this is the new one to the pack and my gameing rig is doing a lot of the work and my network is geting jamed with all the data flying a bout

    well my new hdd came in to day 250gb and i say it was to ez some thing is not right only 1 1/2 to take out the cady pull a part the packing
    take out the old 32gb hdd and pop the new 250gb in put the slap slap slap it is in load the nero cd and moved it over to the new hdd off 2 dvds SOME THING AINT RIGHT THIS WAS TO EZ NO LESS THAN 1HR TOPS
