Hi, I'm looking a 512MB PC2700 MicroDIMM memory for the Y2 toughbook. I called panasonic and they told me that the compatible part number is CF-BAU0512U.
Now wherever I looked, it costs over $200, if anyone knows any reliable place for the memory module I need for cheaper, please let me know. thank you very much!

    Order a 512mb from Kingston...pn U6464C250, 512mb Micro Dimm, $112 US.
If you really want to up the RAM go for the Swiss Bit 1GB Micro Dimm, but it is an arm and a leg! Yeah, try $299.00!!! PAN-1GB-PC2700-MD from MemoryX.net.

Thanks. Actually I just found it for a $100 shipped. it's Kingston KTP-BAU/512. I called Panasonic today and they told me that the Y2 will not support anything larger than 768MB, they said that the BIO will not recognize it. Are you running on 1GB??

Yes, 1.25GB actually. The base memory (soldered on the mobo was 256mb) added the Swiss Bit 1GB chip and whala, works great!
