i believe i have figured out a way to increase the somewhat slow/dated 1.8GHz processor speed in my '30 .
the interconnections are rather simple and require only a few pre 1931 "bobby-pins" or strips of genuine tin-foil gum wrappers .
in theory , it should increase the processor speed to the "infrared" region and with the possibilities of a momentary "turbo boost" function of just under UV .
as an added benefit , any tungsten or osmium metal (think incandescent lamps) within 20 feet of the hybrid comp/amp should be irradiated enough to cause them to glow at full rated (think watts) brilliance for a period of approximately two years .

I wonder just what is the story behind that.
-
the story is that crown has supposedly high engineering standards ... and for some of their products years ago , they were .
the outfit started/ was started by making trancievers for missionaries (by the outfit that sponsored the missionaries) that "went into the jungles and on to the ends of the earth" .
personally speaking , i have had the pleasure of working with/on both genera of equipment and the changes in tech personnel .
the pdf is also a spoof and lampoon of those self-appointed "audiophools" that claim golden ears that can hear the difference in the copper used in pc boards , have special ink "sharpies" that when used on transistors and preamplifier ICs give them "tube-like warmth" , not to mention specially rolled tubular capacitors that have "lower phase shift" than conventional types .
manufacturers are constantly coming up with ways to cater to these types of consumers ... via some word twisting glittering generalities and specific terminology .
and believe it or not , there are those individuals that will shell out lots of greenbacks for old stock phenolic-carbon resistors that changed value and old "black beauty" oil impregnated paper wound capacitors that were leaky (electrically speaking) from the factory .
there is some of this going on in the computer industry but not nearly as much as with what happened in the hi-fiddle-lee-dee audio industry .

I wonder, Did Crown create the spoof themselves?

i don't believe so ...
they are a very staunch company .
new amplifier for interfacing to my CF-30 ...
