Ok so I have TWO of these..
Amazon.com: Energizer XP8000 Rechargeable Power Pack for Netbooks: Electronics

I just received tips for my Thinkpad X200s and my CF-30 to run off the battery packs.

One Battery pack powered my Thinkpad for 2hrs and 20min with WIFI on the whole time.

My CF-30 ran for an hour with WIFI on and solid use.. High Performance mode, no power saving.

I always have them in my bag for charging my EVO or my IPOD while out and about, but now that I can use em for my 30, its just plain AWESOME!!!

    Cheap, maybe at $76?

In just checked this on Amazon's UK site, it's on sale at £189.99 or about $350!

    That's 'rip-off' Britain for you!

    Ehh!!! I could get 12 hours + power 5 lights on 1/2 gallon of 87 fuel on my 2HP, 1000 watt generator... that's $2... :)

I've had one of these in my toolbag for about 3 years; the batteries just kakked a couple months ago. (Went from working great to totally tanked between one use and the next; odds are it got the power button jammed on by something). It's about the size and weight of 2 3.5" hard drives stacked up and is rated at 80W continuous output; it runs more than long enough to completely recharge my laptop.

    Black & Decker CPI100B 100W Power To Go AC/USB Charger CPI100B

Be sure you get the CPI100B (100W model); it's an older model, but the newer ones are like 10W and 20W and are pretty much useless.

When it was working it was the bomb; I could plug in my ToughBook or my iPwn for a quick recharge and be good to go again even if I didn't have power available. Rebuilding it is on my to do list; but I need to find a deal on cells with tabs. It uses 16 AA size NIHMs; With typical 2500MAH capacity on newer technology cells, I should be able to bump capacity up from 4AH to 5AH.

    Yey. ANOTHER project.

It might, depending on how creative you got..

When I was serving, I figured out a way (i.e. JENGA) to take all my personal belongings with me when I relocated, only using my Motorcycle, Saddlebags, A seabag, 3 duffel bags, various other and a stereo piled on top of the heap for listening to on the road, plus about 6 bungee cords, 3 bungee nets and 100ft of parachute cord...

I got stopped by police once because they were concerned about balance, after they checked it out, they took pics!
