    hi
i bought a few days ago a cf f9 book it is pretty nice
within were some recovery dvd s for win 7 so i installed it
after this i tried to install win 10 with the win creators update made an usb stick and still i didnt need a win 10 key
    win 10 is activated
the interessing thing is first i gort some faults with an intel driver i looked in the www and discoverd that deleting the software is not all you have to change the name of the driver
after this i clicke after a reboot the install button on my usb stick and all worked fin win 10 is activatetd and no yello signs in the device manager every thing works proper

i still tried win 10 64 bit and it works too i just have two yellow signs but installing the drivers from the bundle worked
so if you want you can run the cf f9 with win 10 32 bits as an upgrade ( it is still on the datee i posted this possible) or win 10 64 bit with the win 7 drivermatrix ressources you can download from panasonic homepage using the win 7 files
so if you want to upgrade from win 7 32 bits to win 10 32 bits there is no problem except this intel device that name you have to change
win 10 64 bit works too but you have to make a clean install and download the driverpackage from the panasonic site
than extract thia file with 7 zip so you have all drivers unzipped and install them after reading the pdf file
i like this buisness rugged notebooks from panasonic
i bought the last years some used of them and was really surprised
if there are any questions ask and i ll try to answer

a cf f9 looks bigger than a thinkpad 430 but it doesn t have the same weight it is smaller
my favorit notebook would be a crossing betwenn a panasonic and a thinkpad
i like the thinklight and the trackpoint
driversupport is difficult i think thinkpads have a better support
bur toughbooks are toughbooks eve the business rugged ones

I agree that Thinkpads seem to have better driver support.

I got a Toughpad FZ-G1 about 6 months ago. Once I bought the ikey keyboard, the G1 became my favorite away from home Toughbook.
The CF52 is my at home daily driver.

The screens are very easy to break, surprisingly so and it is impossible to find a replacement. I tossed several F8's and 2 F9's last year because I could never find replacement LCD's. Just so you know.

so after the latest win 10 upgrades i have a yellow sign on the graphics and the ide atapi controllers
    and another issue
the fn screen darker and brighter doesn t work any more, i had this issue on a w 8 too
a shortscreen of the energyoptions on my desktop solved this problem
another thing is the lodness of the speakers is not very high typical fpr the f9 speakers?
