I add a wifi card to the cf-74 core duo. I wifi card is seen in win7, it says its working. but it says it turned off. . I tried the switch to no avail. there is no bios setting for wifi. like on another cf-74 i have. can i upgrade the bios or what should i do?

Have you checked if the Panasonic wifi switch is installed? Have you tried the hardware switch (the CF-52 has one)? Good luck!

I am no expert but when I loaded XP on my CF-74, the wireless switch didn't work. There appears to be a driver for it on the Panasonic site. Once I installed that, the switch worked.
    Might be worth checking.
