    folks,
A few days before, i desided to buy a CF-19 Mk5(used of cause), and yesterday i found Mk6 with same seller. So not make me a hard choice between Mk5 and Mk6. i give the spec of the two model of the seller and price.

    Mk5 Mk6
    ------------------------------------------------------
    price: $780 $940
    CPU: i5-2520M i5-3320M
    ram: 4GB 4GB
    HD: 500GB 500GB
    keyborad: regular chiclet
    graphic: HD3000 HD4000
    USB: 2.0 3.0
    battery: 9hours 10hours

For my purpose, i plan to use this CF-19 for major computer for 4-5 years(i don't
play games and not much heavy-duty software like 3D max, photoshop). So this two models' performence(speed) is enough for that.

But some times i will use for 3D sketch(most like a room) but not for render or make animation(use SketchUp or bender). so graphic HD4000 should be better but not necessary.

Mk6 with USB3.0 is comfortable without express to usb3.0 card, but not necessary.

keyboard, i need backlit work at night or dark, so chiclet with backlit is necessary for me.

yeah, i know this is much text ,but please give me advice for me is that better give more $160 to get that Mk6 with more better graphic , usb3.0, chiclet with backlit and one more hour battery life.

thank you for your time to watch this thread! have a nice day!

I would go with the 19 MK6 if it's only $160.00 more. You will not get 10 hours on battery. My 19 MK5 gets 5 hours .

I would get the mk6 also.
Mk6 with USB 3.0 is a big plus.
    Mk6 has Bluetooth 4.0 and mk5 has Bluetooth 2.1

@t oughasnails , I am not expect actual 9 or 10 hours battery, that is offical infos that everybody know won't happen actually, but at least mean that Mk6 will get a little long battery life than Mk5. So with @Shawn's opinion ,it's definitely get Mk6, thanks folks!

@toughasnails Mk5 is that bad for battery life just 5 hours? My Cf-T8(japan version) fully charge can make it 5 hours or more that is running erverydays at pass 4 years and most time plug-in charger(before that, it was second-hand), thx for the ECO mode from panasonic make battery "keep young"

Of couse i just broswer the web or office apps with low backlight, I means what's do at that 5 hours?(if running heavy-duties work make sense)

Oh, 60% brightness with GPS run 6-7 hours is so great, so I guest Mk6 use indoor with low brightness GPS off should be almost 8 hours even more! Thx , that is enough reasons to "dry" my purse to get the Mk6!

I wonder that has a CF-19's battery charger? (just charge the battery that we can bring one more battery outdoor without charging and work a whole day)
I think the should be have this "thing" ,but don't know what should it call so can't search on ebay.

    found some onn ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panasonic-T...961314?hash=item3aadeafb62:g:Kw0AAOSwNSxU9ifd

    it's this guy?

Sorry that I not sure understand the "to make that work you need to use the charger from your 19"(pardon my english sucks) , as the picture of the battery charger, I guest your mean that battery charger need the original CF-19's charger to connect,is that right?
And also mean that use the 19's original charger connect to the battery charger and CF-19, that can charge CF-19 and other battery at the same time? (sorry that again, i got so much questions) ,however, thanks for your reply!

You will need a second AC adapter to use with this battery charger if you want to charge second battery while your main AC adapter is charging your laptop.
Regular keyboard doesn't have a backlight. Original island-style (chiclet?) one has it, but this keyboard is very expensive and dies suddenly after a few of water. And after it dies you will have to pay for it again :))
    I have 2 pieces dead and I can't trust it anymore :)

P.S. Look for CF-19 with 3G (Gobi) modem inside if you will need 3G, because it's expensive to add it later.

    express to usb3.0 card

I would not recommend one of those, sometimes they draw too much power and can damage your express or PCMCIA port.

Thanks for reply and give me great infos.
As I say, for now I prefer have a backlit keyboard make it work in dark(of cause it can be done the touch-keyboard with srceen), and the model Mk6 I found with Emissive (chiclet backlit) keyboard. It bad news for that will dies after a few of water, so if that happen I maybe change the Standard keyboard(cheapest), and the Rubber Backlit feel not comfortable.

For now 3G is not necessary, and not that easy to found a Mk5 or 6 with 3G. But 3G gps even fingerprint reader that can be add after year by year, it will feel not that expensive and fun!

so that battery charger come later, it has to get it on ebay, expensive shipping fee and troubles by China's customs.
