I have bought CF-18 mk1(model - BDAZXMM) but it has gps module, as I understand - previous owner built it in it.
How to fix my problem with erratic cursor?
Yesterday, I received my CF-18 and install XP and all drivers, I don't know why but all working fine even gps. :) First time i have a problem with cursor, but I disable it in BIOS. After that I has problem with digitizer (it is don't work) I download driver from Wacom and all work fine. After all I install gpsfilter and enable gps in BIOS and ALL WORKS!! :) even GPS
AND it was great!! I love it!!
    but today morning.. :(
i turn on my note.. and have erratic cursor
Please HELP!! How to fix this problem?!
I read that I need "GPS registry patch" to fix this problem, I downloaded them for mk2/3/4 and tried to install them and get errors - I don't have right model for them and archive don't unpack.

already used this link http://www.panasonic.ca/english/customercare/sandd/softwareResults.asp (i use cf18 +gps to search)
    gpsfilter is also installed
other archive (gps_18_3_d030324.exe, gps_18_4_d030324.exe) don't execute in my cf-18 - they say - i have wrong model for them
last searching result (cf18_mk2_gps.zip) - unpacked but not worked too. just say about problem with regisrty merging.

in any way, thank you for advice :)

If you don't have any luck I will look up my posts and others on dealing with this later
There is at least 3 or 4 different solutions

One thing.... You need to go into the BIOS and disable the GPS... Unpack and install the patches... And then go back into the BIOS to enable the GPS... The patches should work. You can use WinRAR to unpack them manually... Then put them into C:\Drivers\GPS and then double click to install them.

If all else fails you should be able to go into Device Manager and disable Serial Ballpoint Mouse and it should stop the erratic mouse pointer.

    BTW... Welcome to the forum!

    thank you all for advise
    and for welcome too :)

I has HH3 before it and I think cf-18 is much better.
I am trying to use CF-18 and understand that better notebook than it is.. CF-19 :)

In my plans - SSD and want to look may be I can upgrade processor and ram (it have 1.256) for it. I think you already discuss about.

P.S. It need me for navigation (land and sea) and internet connection too.
