    Hello,
1st time posting. Is there a big differnce beteewn 1.3 mhz and 1.4 mhz. looking at buying one and the model number says mk2 it's a 1.3 but the sell says 1.4 with 1.5 ram and 120 gig memory running xp sp?.
could the processor have been changed? Anything to look for?

    Thanks for the input.

Welcome to the forum . The CPU can't be changed. I would email the seller and ask him what the full model number is CF-29#######. To understand the 29 better have a look here http://forum.notebookreview.com/panasonic/241106-cf-29-f-q-read-me-before-posting.html

Another check is "how many USB ports". 1.4 has two.

As far as just speed you shouldn't see any real world difference between them. Also to note the Mk3 1.4 besides the extra usb port, it can boot from usb.

speed between 1.3 and 1.4 isn't enough to worry about. The differences between a mk2 and a mk3 can matter.
mk3 has another usb port while mk2 has a better touchscreen.
Plus there are other things I can't remember at the moment.

    It is a cf29 isn't it?

1.3 or 1.4 in the same generation processor doesn't make that much difference, but a newer generation vs an older generation can make a lot of difference even if the difference is just 0.1
