The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. This is covered in DETAIL in the CF-28 FAQ, which is linked to in the Toughbook Resource thread stickied at the TOP OF THE FORUM and clearly labeled **READ BEFORE POSTING** **The Ultimate Toughbook Resource Thread**

We here are MORE than happy to help those in need, but we DO get tired of spoon-feeding the most basic information to every newbie who can't be bothered to even read the obvious stuff. Posted at the top of the forum. SCREAMING "Read Me First." In the discussion forum. Right here:

I'll go ask one of the mods to move this where it belongs for you; BRB.

Just to keep everything Kosher, I will SELL you the plans and spare you the effort of going to the correct section where the information is posted for free, but would require a some search effort.

Say $20? PM me for details... :p

It might be time to establish new Sub-Forums maybe by model. That would make it easier to find something vs. searching 169 pages of messages.

We do get a little off track around here but I don't know of any forum that doesn't. Tomcat put together a great TOUGHBOOK RESOURCE THREAD that covers all the major models... We add to it as needed and have been for months if not years... It only takes a little reading.

But with a "READ ME BEFORE POSTING!" on the front.... If they can't see, find or read that... I seriously doubt they have the skills to swap a hard drive. Maybe we should change it to YOUR ANSWER IS HERE and more people would read it.
