Which Model? Which screw? Maybe post a pic with the screw marked. There are several different size screws on the bottom of a CF 29.
Maybe someone here can give/send/sell you a screw once we know exactly which one it is.

Most of the screws on toughbooks are just metric screws. They can be found at hobbyshops, and always at Bolt Depot - Product Catalog - Nuts and Bolts, Screws & Fasteners
They will ship small orders and have virtually any screw you might need. Most of the screws are available in stainless and they aren't Chinese junk. Your best route here is to just ask nicely and see what happens if you only need 1 or 2 screws.

I have so many screws I don't know what to do with them. Paypal $10 to [email protected] to cover the heavy shipping weight and I'll send many many handfuls your way.

    Thanks

Just a thought. If you are working on panasonic cf-29 on disassembling the unit and place your screws near the buttom plate of cf-29. I will suggest to check your speaker magnet it might be hanging on it for awhile that you haven't notice it yet. Tell me how I know it, Lol..

its the screw that goes in the bottom on the back of the pcmcia cover.

also the 2 corner screws have some type of treads into the hole, what are those used for?

So what am I going to do with all them screws I am going to get from Rob ? Well six months ago I was in Walfart with my girlfriend and I found this case in the crafts section, takes up no room at all ,24 screw caps/containers in each for about $6.00 . As you can see nice and neat and if you drop it you don't have a thousand screws to pickup :D
