Has anyone succesfully installed anything besides a wwan in this slot? I tried a wireless card, and nothing, even tried taping the pin per other posts, and still nothing. I noticed the slot is on a daughter card that connects via a small ribbon cable.. and the slot has two dip switches with options for reserved, cdma, and another for I think it ws evdo... I also tried the bluetooth connector and tested all wires for a sub connecdtion and couldnt find one... So I am left wanting to install something in that mini pci-e up top.... possibly a wireless card + bluetooth combo or maybe just hack a pci-e to usb setup something like that? anyone tried something similar on a SECOND PCIE slot innitially intended for WWAN ?

The wwan-slot is not an full functionality pci-e. It is for an USB-wwan card. U can possibly insert an wlan-card, if they work internal over USB.
