The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    sound and hotkeys disappeared on CF-31, HELP!

    The sound and hotkeys have disappeared on my CF-31 (Win 7 Pro/32) The hardware check says that they are present and working but no sound comes from the speakers or headphone socket. I have been using a Tascam USB interface and I am wondering if that has affected it? aaLso the hotkeys work, but the 'icons' don't apear on the screen any longer! :( Anyone got any clues?
