I have a strange problem with my CF29 (XP SP3)

With power plugged in, standby works perfect on closing the lid
on battery the standby don't work by closing the lid

it works perfect in the start menu, only not working by closing the lid

    any ideas ?

Found the solution (problem is caused by a recent update from MS)
The standby timer in the power management must be less than 30 min.

Yeah... MS updates have been wreaking havoc with several.... Gee... You'd think they want us all to update to W7 or something. ;)
