i have several cf-28's that i am assembling to use with automotive programs, one that i was working with yesterday has a touch screen, but it seemed like it was seperating from the screen, i completely dissasembled the display to look for issues but could find none.
after installing the driver and getting the unit to work i was using the test feature and the center of the screen seemed to be where the issue was, had to press harder than usual to get any type of a reaction. thanks for your help.
Modly, thanks for the great site and acess to the drivers. i contributed a bit to the fund![]()

That's not terribly uncommon. After enough heat and/or use, the center starts to bubble out and gets progressively worse. There's nothing you can do beyond replacing it.

... Or pressing harder!
I've found that these were usually ex-police laptops. After sitting in a cruiser for a few years with the windows rolled up... it makes the center of the screen bubble out a little. Usually, if you press a little harder, you can get around this and it is just a minor annoyance. However, if you are using the handwriting utility... It can be a pain in the gluteus maximus!

Now just as soon as I get my car running again... I'll have more free time to do it(I had to push my deadline back 4 weeks for my cross-US move to Oregon because I had a small car fire in the vehicle I'm taking)
touch screen issues (not driver related)
